🛡️ Guild Membership FixesApparently, some races and classes were being denied entry into guilds because their race didn’t match the faction ID the game expected.
Which is a bit ridiculous considering we’ve thrown the traditional race and faction restrictions out the window.
This has now been corrected! Players should be able to join guilds regardless of their chosen race and class combination.
When you’re rewriting decades of Blizzard’s assumptions about how the game should work, occasionally one sneaks through. 😅
🧙 Magister Vaelith Dawnspire: Class Trials Have Arrived!Turns out, when you let any race become any class, Blizzard’s original class quests have absolutely no idea what to do with themselves.
Who would’ve thought?
Rather than forcing everyone through quests originally designed around specific races and factions, Magister Vaelith Dawnspire has officially been given clearance to train adventurers through a series of Aethro-specific class trials!
No more wondering why your Goblin Paladin is being sent somewhere they have no business going. We’ve got our own way of doing things!
🏹 Hunter: The Aethro Hunter Trial
Receive your very own Aethro Hunter Taming Kit, complete with instructions! Use it on three different Beast-type creatures around your starter village to prove you’ve got what it takes.
✨ Priest: The Aethro Priest Trial
A wounded trainee needs your help! Heal them, then provide a little divine protection with Power Word: Fortitude.
⚔️ Paladin: The Aethro Paladin Trial
Being a Paladin isn’t just about swinging a big weapon and looking fabulous in plate armor. Heal a wounded trainee using your holy abilities to prove your worth.
🗡️ Rogue: The Aethro Rogue Trial
Sometimes the best lesson is a practical one. Head out into the starter village surroundings and defeat three creatures.
🌩️ Shaman: The Aethro Shaman Trial
The elements demand proof of your abilities! Defeat three nearby creatures and demonstrate you’re ready to walk the path of the Shaman.
🔥 Warlock: The Aethro Warlock Trial
Before you start commanding demons, you’ll need to demonstrate that you can handle yourself. Defeat three nearby creatures and receive your first lesson in demon binding.
🐻 Druid: The Aethro Druid Trial (Level 10)
Ready to embrace your wild side? Defeat three nearby creatures to prove you’re prepared to take on a new form.
🌊 Druid: The Aethro Druid Water Trial (Level 16)
Because apparently turning into a bear wasn’t enough! Complete another challenge against three nearby creatures to unlock your aquatic abilities.
📜 A New Approach to Class TrainingThese trials are designed to work with Reforged’s unrestricted race and class combinations, giving adventurers a more consistent way to unlock important class abilities.
Magister Vaelith Dawnspire serves as our shared Aethro trainer and questgiver, helping ensure your choice of race doesn’t get in the way of learning your class.
Because in Reforged, your adventure shouldn’t be dictated by what Blizzard thought your character was supposed to be back in 2008. 😏
