Companions

PlayerBots

Keep leveling, questing, and testing builds moving when you need another adventurer.

PlayerBots are controllable party companions. You can bring in an available bot, direct its movement and combat role, manage its gear and loot, and use it to keep a quest or dungeon run moving when another player is not immediately available. Commands are sent as whispers to one bot or through party and raid chat to address the group.

Player guide

Follow this flow

  1. 1

Open the PlayerBots roster and choose the companion or role you need.

  2. 2

Add the bot to your party, then use /w BotName help to see the commands that bot accepts.

  3. 3

Use the movement and combat commands to establish a formation: summon, follow, stay, attack, tank, heal, or assist.

  4. 4

Use the gear, loot, quest, profession, and strategy commands below to prepare the bot for the activity.

  5. 5

Use party chat for a group-wide instruction, or whisper one bot when only that companion should act.
